Our client is seeking an experienced Integration Manager (Rolling Stock) to support their activities on their new project for the Morocco Railways (ONCF). This role will be based in Rabat, Morocco.
 
Duties / Responsibilities:
A. Integration Manager shall be responsible for implementing and managing all integration processes to ensure that RER (TNR/ METROPOLITAN)'s systems and subsystems, when integrated with each other and with ONCF Infrastructures will be produced to meet the requirements with SMP, CdCF, CdCDA.
B. Integration Manager shall be responsible for Integration through life cycle of the client's projects such as Conceptual Design Review (CDR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Detailed Design Review (DDR), Test and Commissioning phases in coordination with Project Engineer and Design Engineering Teams.
C. Integration Manager shall be responsible for managing the integration activities of RER (TNR/ METROPOLITAN)'s design, verification and validation, directly responsible for and fully engaged in the following:
1. Serving the primary representative for the client in all discussions with ONCF, Other Contractors, Operator, Infrastructure Owner in regard to the integration of RER (TNR/ METROPOLITAN);
2. Providing leadership and oversight of the client's integration management processes;
3. Raising and working to resolve potential integration issues such that impacts to the client's activities and to ONCF infrastructure timeline are minimized;
4. Participating in all aspects of integration management, including the oversight of the requirements management processes and implementing system engineering processes to ensure that the integrated designs meet the requirements of the Contract;
5. Managing the internal interfaces between all RER's systems and the external interfaces between RER and the ONCF Infrastructure, such that the RER meets the requirements of the Contract; and
6. Conducting and completing all integration activities required by and in accordance with the Contract and Good Industry Practice.
7. The Integration Manager shall liaise with the Project Engineer to ensure integration between all aspect of the design.
8. When requested by the client and ONCF, the Integration Manager shall attend Infrastructure Integration Meetings.
9. Supports the project team in completing the requirements of the project.

 
Job Requirements

 

The Integration Manager shall have qualifications that are substantially equivalent to the following:
1. Have experience in the design and manufacturing of Rolling stocks, including experience with integrating Rolling stocks to Infrastructures.
2. Have experience in interface and integration management, including defining, controlling, and communicating the information needed to enable integration of design elements, using a well-defined, transparent, and systemic approaches;
3. Have detailed understanding of the RER operation and maintenance requirements and processes;
4. Have experience applying system engineering processes on projects for the following integration activities:
a. RER's dynamic wheel to rail interfaces, considering wheel wear, noise mitigation, and flange interface with track infrastructure;
b. RER's clearance envelopes and Stop and Station Platform interfaces;
c. Transit signal priority, train signalling, and RER on-board signalling equipment interfaces;
d. Track and road elevation interfaces;
e. RER pantograph to OCS interfaces;
f. EMC between the LRV and the infrastructure;
g. Accessibility compliance between the Platforms and the RER thresholds;
h. Electrical power interfaces; and
i. Communication between the RER and the wayside infrastructure; and
5. be reasonably able to commit for the duration of the Term.
