Our client is seeking a Document Control Officer to participate in the management and administration of their document control framework and support team in effectively managing, storing and disseminating documents pertaining to design, construction and delivery of projects, in accordance with internally established document control standards and protocols in order to enhance the client's governance.
Accountability Areas:
* Participate in the design and implementation of engineering and corporate electronic document and correspondence management systems, in line with leading practices and trends.
* Participate in the management of the document control center and follow-up on day-to-day document control activities in order to ensure staff compliance to established document control policies and procedures.
* Work closely with the PMC to capture their needs and requirements relevant to setting up the PMC document control center, in accordance with the established document management framework and plans.
* Prepare training material pertinent to EDMS to be presented and delivered in training workshops and seminars to staff and to project consultants and contractors alike in order to create awareness regarding established EDMS practices and policies.
* Assist in the provision of adequate levels of support to various projects and disciplines in order to ensure the client achieves the best efficiency levels in managing and storing documents.
* Degree in Business/Engineering/Construction Management or a related field.
* A minimum of 3 years of Relevant Experience.
