They are looking for looking for a candidate with knowledge and experience in project management of rail systems and who is willing to develop a career within a global organisation.

Working with the National Rail Lead, you will manage the engineering design and production of technical studies, whilst meeting cost, quality and deadline objectives. You will be supported by engineers and experts in Australia and other technical centres overseas.


 
Job Requirements

 

You will have a Bachelor"s degree (or equivalent) in Communications Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related subject area (Post-graduate qualifications will also be highly valued).

Your skills and experience will include:

· A demonstrable track record of achievement in a similar role, with at least 10 years" experience on major, heavy rail systems projects. (Knowledge of the Victorian railway environment would be highly advantageous)

· Extensive multidisciplinary engineering experience within a rail project environment including knowledge of key domains, systems integration practices and disciplines

· Current or previous experience in planning, design, verification, validation and implementation of system wide systems such as signalling ERTMS, communications, and power supply

· The ability to prepare and present high quality technical and non-technical reports in professional and polished English

· Meticulous attention to detail, combined with the ability to balance this against broader strategic considerations/big-picture thinking and customer service
· Appropriate Australian working rights/Visa permissions but will consider non residents
