Role:

Planing Manager/Assistant Manager (dependent on experience).

Project:

Construction of a new Bus depot in Singapore.

Employment type:

2 year contract (with possibility to extend or make permanent).

Purpose:

Manage and maintain project change control register and identify, record and analyse variations from budgeted or baseline scope

Duties:

*Support Planning Department with respect to line-wide (Infra & Systems) views, reporting and action plans regarding overall schedule status and current, emerging and potential critical issues
*Overall assurance of critical path management of internal and external (client facing) program
*Responsible for float management of external client facing program to demonstrate maximum potential for EOT entitlement and to ensure that achievement of internal program targets does not demonstrate emerging float (and loss of EOT potential) in external client facing program
*Evaluate and report upon project health and likelihood of achieving targets from a program and project strategic standpoint
*To identify areas of risk and uncertainty and propose required actions
*Identify and provide counsel on areas of program slippage to ascertain priorities and areas where recovery and increased productivity and performance is required
*Review and comment upon all (Infra & Systems) project reports and program for contentious, contractual or technical deficiencies
*Provide (weekly, monthly) management reports and presentations showing progress against baseline & working program
* Provide internal & client facing progress reports showing planned, earned, actual cost, trend analysis, key performance indicators, cost & schedule performance and estimate / forecast at completion from a strategic, budgeted cost and project delivery perspective
* Monitor effectiveness of project controls procedures and reports to meet project needs, propose improvements and follow-up on implementation
* Initiate and follow-up on what-if analysis and required planning / controls actions

 
Job Requirements

 

*Singapore citizen / Singapore Permanent Resident / or otherwise able to work in Singapore without visa sponsorship.
*Recognized degree in Civil / Structural Engineering, Architecture or similar field.
*Circa 8+ years relevant working experience - including similar civil infrastructure projects in Singapore
*Strong experience in Primavera P6.
*Must be able to create a construction program with minimum of guidance.
