Our client is seeking a Planning Manager-Lead to work on Sector 1 North & South on fixed-term, full time contract based in Brisbane.
Position Purpose: The Planning Lead will lead the planning and scheduling function for the ETCS Program, ensuring the development, integration, governance and assurance of all program schedules. Accountable for the integrity of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), the Planning Lead will provide strategic planning advice, schedule forecasting, performance analysis and recovery planning to support informed decision-making and successful program delivery.

Position Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the program planning and scheduling team.
- Establish and maintain planning and schedule management frameworks, standards and procedures.
- Own and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
- Ensure integration of contractor, supplier, testing, commissioning and stakeholder schedules.
- Validate schedule logic, dependencies, interfaces and critical path integrity across all workstreams.
- Lead schedule forecasting, performance analysis and trend reporting.
- Establish and maintain schedule baseline governance processes.
- Assess schedule impacts arising from approved program changes.
- Lead schedule assurance reviews, schedule health assessments and compliance activities.
- Coordinate schedule risk assessments and schedule contingency analysis in collaboration with the Risk Lead.
- Develop recovery strategies, alternative delivery scenarios and re-planning initiatives where required.
- Provide executive-level schedule reporting, insights and recommendations to governance forums.
- Support business case updates, funding submissions and re-baselining activities.
- Ensure schedule information is fully integrated with program cost, risk and change management processes.
- Drive continuous improvement in planning, scheduling and program controls practices.
