Our client is bidding for work on the ETCS Sector 1 North Project in Brisbane and they are seeking suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the role of Package Director, Greenfield Signalling. 
 
The Package Director, Greenfield Signalling is accountable for, and leads, the S1N Greenfield Signalling packages:
* Elimbah Pilot Line (SP1)
* The Wave package Beerwah to Caloundra (B2C) (SP4)
* The Wave package Caloundra to Birtinya (C2B) (SP5).
Ensuring outputs are ready for Systems Integrator use and subsequent QR service-testing outcomes; drives delivery to time and cost targets and alignment to The Wave and QR objectives.
 
Position Responsibilities           
Core scope for this role will include, but will not be limited to:
* Leading and overseeing project management, technical, commercial and contractual inputs to achieve target program.
* Direct strategy, scope, phasing and logistics across B2C/C2B/Pilot, and aligning interfacing projects with ETCS / DRS.
* Provide leadership over vendor contract management, ensuring suppliers deliver to agreed technical, schedule, safety and commercial obligations as they relate to The Wave greenfield.
* Oversee ETCS contract management forums, performance reviews, commercial negotiations, change control, and escalation pathways as they relate to The Wave greenfield.
* Influence "best-for-program" outcomes and behaviours across the ETCS L2 program.
* Establish and maintain the package-specific Interface Management Plan and interface registers; align with configuration baselines and assurance gates.
* Ensure commercial frameworks reinforce integration behaviours and deliverables (PCA, interface agreements).
* Provide transparent, executive-level status, risk and decision reporting.

 
Job Requirements

 

Role Requirements        
* 10+ years relevant demonstrated experience working in related roles, overseeing major rail infrastructure projects (>$250 million). 
* Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate delivery in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
* Strong technical knowledge of rail systems, signalling and ETCS (desirable).
