Our client is looking for a Scheduler Rail Systems to be based in Manila to work on the Metro Manila Railway Project. 
 
Key Responsibilities
1. Review of Scheduling-Related Documents
- Review and analyse scheduling inputs and requirements from bid documents, contract documents, project execution plans, and progress reports.
-  Assess contractor programs, baseline schedules, and recovery schedules for compliance with contractual requirements and project objectives.
-  Review and validate reports, presentations, and scheduling deliverables prepared by contractors and consultants.
-  Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or risks within submitted schedules and propose corrective actions.
2. Preparation and Compilation of Reports & Presentations
-  Develop consolidated scheduling and progress reports for submission to the client consultants, and project stakeholders
-  Prepare high-level presentations, dashboards, and visual progress trackers to communicate project status to senior management.
-  Ensure that reports include progress against key milestones, risks, mitigations, and resource allocation updates.
3. Site Visits & Field Verification
-  Conduct regular site visits to validate reported progress against actual work.
-  Record progress through photos, videos, and drone footage to maintain an accurate visual archive.
-  Collaborate with construction, systems, and safety teams to capture accurate on-site data for scheduling assessments.
-  Report discrepancies between planned and actual works to support corrective measures.
4. Meeting Participation & Facilitation
-  Attend internal and external meetings related to project scheduling, progress monitoring, and coordination.
-   In certain circumstances, act as meeting chairperson, ensuring agendas are followed and actions are clearly captured.
-   Prepare meeting minutes, track action items, and follow up to ensure timely closure of open points.

 
Job Requirements

 

-  Degree qualified
-  Proven experience in railway project scheduling, particularly those who have previously developed or managed Rail Systems schedules, including Rolling Stock activities, within MRT or metro rail projects. 
-  A working understanding of CBTC systems would be advantageous, although it is not a mandatory requirement.
-  Prior railway project experience is essential for this role.
-  Minimum 15 years of experience in scheduling
-  Can demonstrate how he or she has been able to recognise Project trouble spots and devise ways and means to overcome them
