Our client in Malaysia was awarded a contract in 2024 to refurbish the Malaysian Railway's fleet of 44 locomotives and 246 wagons leasing them back to the Malaysian Railways over a period of 25 years. As part of this agreement they will also be responsible for the scheduled maintenance of the fleet of leased locomotives and replacement wagons. They are now looking for a Project Manager to support their activities ion this project.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the successful delivery of the Project to the time, cost, quality and scope requirements to satisfy both internal and external stakeholders
- Management of all techno-commercial aspects of the Project including Safety, Planning, Contracts, Finance, Procurement, Quality, Production, Testing & Commissioning, Engineering, Risk and Change Management
- Oversees all operations by translating the high-level goals and targets into day-to-day task, deliverables and actions
- Ensures communication, teamwork and alignment between all disciplines/ functions and team members are
- Manages the life-cycle of the Project from the planning and inception to execution and closure, with anticipation, monitoring and control of any risks or challenges and the maximisation of opportunities
