Our client is seeking the services of experienced professionals in integration (of major infrastructure projects) to lead, manage and support critical integration activities between Stage 1, Stage 2, signalling works packages and interfacing projects for The Wave (Rail).

 

They are seeking suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the role of Manager, Systems Interface.

 

The Manager, Systems Interface is responsible for developing and maintaining the Interface Management Plan, maintaining key interface management tools and systems and facilitating the resolution and mitigation of interface risks across the project. This role ensures that interface management processes are planned, coordinated, and executed consistently across all delivery packages, aligning with project objectives, stakeholder requirements, and regulatory standards. The key objective of the Integration team is to ensure safe operation of passenger services and delivery of all Project Sponsor Requirements by 2032.

Core scope for this role will include, but will not be limited to: 

• Develop and maintain the Interface Management Plan (IMP)

• Maintain the project-wide Interface Register and interface Definition Sheets (IDS) / Interface Control Documents (ICD)

• Facilitate interface definition and resolution workshops

• Champion interface risks and opportunities across the project, including developing reports, updating registers, presentations and briefing notes related to project interfaces

• Identify and escalate interface risks and dependencies across disciplines and packages

• Work closely with colleagues and peers (internal and external) to ensure that the project is adopting best practice interface management practices

• Share learnings with other projects and stakeholders as required to strengthen the rail delivery program.
