Our client is seeking the services of experienced professionals in integration (of major infrastructure projects) to lead, manage and support critical integration activities between Stage 1, Stage 2, signalling works packages and interfacing projects for The Wave (Rail).
 
They are seeking suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the role of Manager, Configuration Management.

The Manager, Configuration Management is responsible for establishing and maintaining configuration management processes across the Wave (Rail) project to ensure that all systems, subsystems, and components are accurately defined, controlled, and traceable throughout the project lifecycle. This role ensures that changes to system configurations are managed consistently, interfaces are controlled, and project deliverables align with design specifications, operational requirements, and stakeholder expectations. The key objective of the Integration team is to ensure safe operation of passenger services and delivery of all Project Sponsor Requirements by 2032.

Core scope for this role will include, but will not be limited to: 
• Develop and implement the Configuration Management Plan, in close consultation with package and delivery teams.
• Manage configuration states, baselines, and changes for systems and infrastructure.
• Manage the identification, control, and traceability of configuration entry & exit criteria.
• Oversee the configuration change control process, ensuring that changes are assessed, approved, and implemented in a controlled manner.

 
Job Requirements

 

* 10+ years' relevant demonstrated experience working in related roles, overseeing or supporting technical integration, configuration management and testing and commissioning activities on major rail infrastructure projects (>$500 million). 
* Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate configuration governance in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
* In-depth knowledge of configuration frameworks such as ISO 10007, and project lifecycle configuration tracking.
* Experience aligning configuration records with safety assurance, testing, and handover processes.
* Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with an ability to engage effectively across delivery partners, contractors, and stakeholders.
