Our client is engaged in delivering a range of large/complex projects through various delivery models, including Construct Only, Design & Construct, New Engineering Contract (NEC) and Alliance Contracting.
They are seeking an Expert to provide expert constructability advice for road, bridge, railway, tunnel and other infrastructure projects to assist the client to identify risks associated with complex projects, formulate effective construction and technical solutions, and evaluate proposals for compliance with requirements and constructability considerations.
This is not a full time role; therefore, hours worked per week may vary. The specified personnel will be required on an as needed basis and will be expected to be available on short notice to meet project requirements.
The Term of the Customer Contract is 2 years.
The job will close on 29th October 2025.
Key Deliverables:
The key deliverables of this panel include:
• Provision of expert technical and construction advice during project planning and feasibility stages.
• Constructability reviews of designs, specifications, and tender documentation.
• Identification of construction risks and development of mitigation strategies.
• Development of practical and cost-effective construction methodologies and staging plans.
• Evaluation of tender submissions for compliance and constructability.
• Preparation of written reports, recommendations, and technical input to support decision-making.
Scope of Services:
Tasks may include but are not limited to:
(i) Reviewing and providing advice on the constructability and construction methodology of projects.
(ii) Assessing construction processes and sequencing during the pre-construction phase.
(iii) Reviewing the quality and clarity of design documentation.
(iv) Providing input to ensure effective integration of construction knowledge into planning, design, and delivery stages.
(v) Developing and reviewing potential construction staging options.
(vi) Preparing written advice, reports, and recommendations to support project decisions.
