Our client is bidding for work on the Abu Dhabi - Dubai HSR project and they are seeking suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the role of Integration Expert Civil Abu Dhabi.
Job Summary:
The Civil Integration Expert will be responsible for ensuring the coordinated integration of all civil infrastructure elements—including stations, viaducts, tunnels, bridges, depots, and utility corridors—across the Dubai HSR project. This role is critical in managing interfaces between civil works and systems, contractors, and government stakeholders to deliver a safe, high-quality, and fully integrated high-speed rail corridor in an urban environment. HSR design and implementation experience is preferred for all Technical Roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage integration of civil design and construction activities across multiple HSR project packages within Dubai
- Coordinate civil interfaces between stations, trackworks, depots, viaducts, tunnels, utilities, and access roads to ensure alignment and seamless transitions.
- Develop, update, and manage Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and ensure alignment with systems engineering, MEP, and architecture.
- Work closely with contractors, consultants, government agencies, and third parties (RTA, DEWA, Dubai Municipality) to resolve integration challenges and ensure design coordination.
- Ensure compliance with Dubai's civil engineering and urban development standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Support interface resolution between civil infrastructure and rail systems (track, power, signaling, telecom).
- Provide technical reviews of design drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and integration test plans
- Participate in technical and coordination meetings, design reviews, and constructability assessments.
- Facilitate integration workshops between key stakeholders and project disciplines.
- Monitor and report on integration risks, issues, and mitigation measures.
- Ensure civil integration is aligned with project schedule, safety requirements, and quality objectives.
